開卷筆記 – 如果這樣，會怎樣？

XKCD作者的書，他在網上也有經營what-if系列文章(有Feed的，可輕鬆訂閱)，這書有當中一些文章，也有一些新的。由讀者來信提出問題，然後作超認真科學討論，自然非常有趣。不單其思考過程裏的理性、科學方法、資料搜查重要，更重要的或許是勇於提出看似無聊問題的創意。又想起一位專門做廢柴機器人的youtuber Simone，過程比目標更重要。

問題可以有多無聊呢？例如只是玩同音字的：1莫耳的鼴鼠(1 mole of moles)；可以玩經典說法：突然半杯水；可以很實際：將實物元素放入周期表；可以假想：全地球人集中一處一起跳，或將地球海洋排光光。

原本說這些題目應該是無時間性的，但總有一兩篇會碰上現時情況：雷射筆照月球^[1]、消滅普通感冒。

每篇都很容易入口(比起他的正篇XKCD漫畫更容易，因為那是有點geek的)，短篇舖舖清，非常適合輕鬆閱讀。
